Building on her Masters degree in Maths, Jenny became one of BKL’s first homegrown senior staff, joining the firm in 2000 as a trainee and progressing to senior manager.

Teaching babies sign language

As well as working at BKL, Jenny runs TinyTalk baby sign language classes in her local area. She writes: ‘I started signing with my youngest son, and was immediately hooked when I realised that young babies are capable of using sign language to communicate well before they are able to speak.’

Jenny’s classes teach parents and children British Sign Language (BSL) signs through songs and rhymes with sensory activities and socialising.
